The South Carolina Budget and Control Board’s Division of Procurement Services is now providing free online access to the South Carolina Business Opportunities (SCBO) newsletter.

Online readers will be able to access PDF and Microsoft Word versions of SCBO without the use of passwords or renewal fees, however, hard copy subscribers will still be charged to have the publication delivered. 

SCBO is a twice-weekly publication that lists proposed procurements involving goods, services, information technology and construction. According to the South Carolina State Procurement Code, solicitations by South Carolina State government agencies that are worth at or above $10,000 in estimated or actual value must appear in SCBO. Other governmental entities, such as cities, counties and school districts can voluntarily advertise in SCBO. 

SCBO is published on Mondays and Thursdays. The electronic version is posted on the Internet by Monday morning for Monday's U.S. Postal Service mailing and on Thursday morning for Thursday's U.S. Postal Service mailing.
