Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center (CECMHC) offers a comprehensive array of services with priorities given to adults, children and their families affected by serious mental illnesses and significant emotional disorders.

CECMHC is an outpatient facility of the S.C. Department of Mental Health. The Center has a caseload of about 2000 persons, served by about 100 staff members, across five counties.

Our Priorities: The Center will give priority to adults and children with serious mental illnesses and serious emotional disturbances and will fulfill its legislative mandates. We will work cooperatively with other agencies, both private and public, to assure continuity of services based on the needs of the individual.
