SC State Historical Records Advisory BoardSC State Historical Records Advisory Board (SC SHRAB)
State Historical Records Plan

The SC SHRAB with funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), the grant-making branch of the National Archives, has developed a new state plan for South Carolina's documentary heritage. The planning process was conducted throughout 2006 and into early 2007, and included input from a great number of interested individuals. The plan covers the period 2007-2012.

As with previous Board plans, the new one identifies issues and developments impacting South Carolina's historical records and recommend actions for the SC SHRAB and other interested stakeholders to take to deal with them. The plan also serves as South Carolina's statement of priorities for future grants to state institutions, agencies, and organizations from the NHPRC.

Below are links to information about the SC SHRAB 2006-2007 planning process and the state plan for 2007-2012.
