Being a CERTIFIED ARBORIST means Waite is trained to assist homeowners, county & municipal governments, volunteer & educational groups, developers and others in the following areas:
- Tree species selection
- Proper tree planting
- Tree City USA implementation
- Proper tree care and maintenance
- Street and park tree inventories
- Proper tree protection during construction
As Coastal Region Urban Forester, Waite serves thirteen counties. She can be reached through your local SCFC office, emailed at fmwaite@bellsouth.net, or through www.trees.sc.gov.
