(Columbia, SC) --Law Enforcement agents with the South Carolina Forestry Commission have charged a Longs, SC resident with allowing an outdoor burn to escape. The resulting fire led to a 240-acre7wildfire on Sunday, February 10 which destroyed several homes and five vehicles in Conway, SC.
On Saturday, Feb. 9, SCFC officials, along with Horry Co. firefighters, responded to a call along Hwy 701 at Ole Kings Street.
