LORIS WOMAN ARRESTED FOR TIMBER FRAUD
(Columbia, SC) Law enforcement agents with the South Carolina Forestry Commission have charged a Loris woman with one count of timber fraud. Vickey Huggins, 31, sold timber from her mother’s land without permission. Ms. Huggins accepted $270.00 in payment for the timber which puts her in violation of SC Code 16-13-0240(3), property by false pretenses.
