To promote Work Force Development as a cornerstone in welfare reform and create sustainable employment and training opportunities for clients through:

• public/private employer contacts
• marketing Family Independence Program advantages and incentives
• providing technical assistance to County Directors and their Work Force Development staff in reaching employability, placement, and retention objectives.
