Department of Mental Health

Volunteer Recognition
October 4, 2006

The South Carolina Department of Mental Health recognizes individuals, groups, and businesses who have made an outstanding effort volunteering each year. This year SCDMH would like to recognize it's Outstanding Volunteers.
Outstanding Volunteers are nominated by SCDMH Hospitals and Mental Health Centers throughout the state of South Carolina. After all nominations have been entered, a selection committee reviews the nominations and selects the three outstanding volunteers using a list of guidelines. Each nominee is recognized with a certificate.
The outstanding volunteers are awarded with a plaque and become that year's South Carolina Department of Mental Health Outstanding Volunteers. There are three categories that are recognized for this award, Outstanding Individual Award, Outstanding Group Award, and Distinguished Service Award (this recognizes state wide business).
