Strategic Initiatives Services

The Strategic Initiatives Program is designed to work cooperatively with other agencies and/or organizations to provide early and intensive intervention in order to reduce the number of children being removed from their homes for placement in psychiatric hospitals, community treatment homes, therapeutic foster care, and/or Department of Juvenile Justice institutions.

The staff consists Master level mental health professionals, who provide an array of home-based, clinical and case management, and community based resources to children, adolescents, and families in need.  This program also works in liaison with Department of Social Services  to provide services to those families identified as needing such services.
