Mission: To support the South Carolina Department of Mental Health (SCDMH) Recovery Initiative through the development of empowered client leadership for persons served through SCDMH.

SCDMH empowers clients by hiring them to be:

  • planners
  • policy makers
  • program evaluators
  • service providers

The next two-week Peer Support Specialist training class will be held August 10 - 13,
the second week will be August 17 - 20
