Community Residence Programs
Marine Programs, Wilderness Camps, and other Private Providers
In conjunction with private providers, DJJ has developed alternative marine, wilderness, and special treatmentprograms--which offer services in lieu of commitment or revocation for juveniles on probation or parole. Juveniles in these programs are on transfer, probation, or parole. The DJJ marine, wilderness, and special treatment programs provide therapeutic group home services in community based settings.
