Office of Legal, Legislative, and Policy Coordination
DJJ's office of Legal, Legislative, and Policy Coordination provides legal advice and assistance to all Department employees as they perform their day-to-day job related duties, assists the Department’s Office of Human Resources in all employee personnel matters, and reviews all contracts and agreements which involve the expenditure of Agency funds or which involve the children that we serve. This office also assists in the monitoring of legislation that could impact the Department, the juvenile justice system and the children that we serve.
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Fees: Copies over 25 pages = $.20 per page Search/retrieval fee = No fee if documents are readily available. $20 per hour after 30 minutes. Scanning/Redaction fee = $20 per hour after the first 30 minutes. Postage = if the cost exceeds the standard USPS first class postage stamp, postage must be paid in advance.
