Welcome to Catawba Regional Planning
Council's Web Page! The Catawba Regional Planning Council (CRPC) serves
as a Council Of Governments for four counties in north-central South Carolina:
Chester, Lancaster, Union, and York. The agency, located in Rock Hill, provides
a wide variety of assistance to local governments within the region.
Areas of assistance include land use planning, project management, economic development, community development, historic preservation, solid waste issues, ADA compliance, law enforcement, and grant development.
CRPC also provides local governments with computer mapping
services through it's GIS system. The agency serves in a Service Delivery
Area for a three county Jobs Training Partnership Act program. An afiliated
Catawba Regional Development Corporation provides several loan programs
for businesses. Other areas of service are provided on an as-needed basis.
