Native American Heritage Month: November 2009
  • The Native American Affairs State Conference will be November 5th-8th at the Russell House Student Union Columbia, SC. Purpose of the event is to conduct an action-initiating conference that will unite Native American Indians and non-Indians with the common goal of improving collaboration, resources, and services in Native American Communities to continue to address the Education, Health, Economic, Social, and Cultural needs of our people; thus, resulting in capacity building initiatives and specific strategies to alleviate disparities and improve identified needs.   • Native American Heritage Week Events at USC-Columbia
  • The 12th Annual Native American Film and Video Festival will be November 5th-8th in Columbia, SC. During the four day festival, films about and by Native Americans and international Native Peoples will be shown at the USC Russell House Auditorium, the Native American Affairs State Conference at USC, and the Nickelodeon Theater.
