Legislation
- A
bipartisan Concurrent Resolution of the House and Senate, introduced by
Representative Nathan Ballentine, and Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter,
and supported by Senator John Courson, has passed the South Carolina
Legislature. The resolution supports the return of the Native American
Indian human remains to their descendants. It also recognizes the
stewardship of the agencies and collections that have protected them to
this point. The resolution calls upon all organizations to return the
ancestors as quickly as possible. View
