2800. SCHOLARSHIPS AND STUDENT LOANS:
To include all expenditures for scholarships and student loans.
2801. Scholarships - Non-State Employees:
To classify expenditures for scholarships, tuition,
registration fees, or other similar payments made by a State
department on behalf of a student, where such student is not
an employee of the department.
2802. Scholarships - S. C. Defense Fund:
To classify expenditures for scholarships made by the state
under the S. C. Defense Fund. Section 59-111-30, 1976
Code.
2803. Scholarships - State Contract Program:
To classify expenditures for scholarships made by the state
under the "State Grants Program" in accordance with
provisions in General Appropriation Act in the Commission
on Higher Education Section.
2806. Scholarships - SREB Contract Program:
To classify the expenditures made by the Commission on
Higher Education to the Southern Regional Education Board
for the Contract for Services program.
2807. Student Loans:
To classify expenditures for student loan programs,
including loans authorized by the Educational Improvement
Act of 1984.
2808. Scholarships - R. C. Byrd Honors:
To classify expenditures made by the Department of
Education to high school seniors who are awarded funds
under the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program.
