for South Carolina Located at South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, SC. This center
sponsors many teacher workshops that are fun and free. Teachers may copy NASA
videos, take posters, lithographs and a host of other materials, at no charge. While you
are at the teacher resource center, don't forget to look in the Stanback Planetarium.

Agate Proposal This is a really neat site of Embry Riddle Aeronautical
University describing the AQUILAS II aircraft.
The AQUILAS II was
designed to be the safest general aviation aircraft in the world. This is one HOT little plane.
Agate Proposal AGATE is the Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiments.
This AGATE Consortium is a cost sharing industry-university-government partnership
initiated by NASA to create technological basis for
revitalization of the U.S. general aviation industry. Check out the GAP (General Aviation Propulsion)

Space Enviornment Center National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association Providing
space weather alerts and warnings to a nation and the world for distrubances that can
affect people and equipment working in space and on Earth. This site has some good
educator lesson plans and Internet activities. Click "Education & Outreach".

Station Simulator A nice little CD-ROM that
gives a good overview of the International Space Station, including all modules, launch
vehicles and launch sites. Activities are fairly simple.
Astronomy Village Built around
step-by-step, month-long investigations, and incorporating the guidance and expertise of a
variety of professional astronomers, this large CD/video/printed document package offers
students an amazingly authentic "real life" experience in the study of
astronomy.

site. Non-profit organization founded in 1889 for anyone who has a genuine interest in
